I’m Justin Eakins, owner of J. Lamar Grooming, located in the heart of Noblesville, Indiana. My journey started over 22 years ago, cutting hair out of my high school dorm room. After attaining a business degree from Oakwood University, I continued my education in both Cosmetology at Idaho State University and barbering through Paul Mitchell.

As a black barber in a fast-growing and diverse area like Hamilton County, I know how important it is to find someone who truly understands your hair. That understanding, combined with a commitment to service quality and professionalism has helped me build long lasting relationships with clients from all backgrounds – whether they have tight curls, waves, or straight hair.

It does not matter if you’re here for weekly maintenance or a one-time cut for a job interview, wedding, or special event, my goal is simply to help you look sharp and feel confident every time you walk out the door.

I received the best haircut I have ever had from JLamar and highly recommend trying out his services. I needed a haircut in a pinch and booked with JLamar. While I initially balked a bit at the price of a $50 haircut, I had an open mind given the high reviews. I am very glad that I decided to move forward because by the end of the haircut, I began to think that $50 was a bargain for the great cut. Justin is courteous and professional, taking his time to ask you what you want. Not only did I receive a great cut, but I also found a new barber I trust to help me look my best.

I have searched for a barber to cut my unique style, and after several months of searching, I finally found him. Very professional; attention to detail and; created the style I wanted to the tea. I highly recommend J. Lamar Grooming. You’re the best.

Justin is fantastic! I took my boys to get their hair cut and they are so happy. My youngest is very particular about his hair and curls.
